Estimates, scheduling and payment

Prices and availability are confirmed by phone before any visit. Any estimate we provide is based on the information available at the time; conditions discovered on site (such as excessive creosote buildup, blockages or damage) may affect the scope or duration of the work, and we will discuss any change with you before proceeding.

Appointments may be rescheduled due to weather, access issues or emergencies. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

Property access and safe operation

You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the chimney, fireplace or wood-burning appliance on the scheduled date, including a clear work area around the hearth.

For safety, fires and wood stoves must not be in use, and ashes must be fully cooled, at the time of the appointment. If conditions make the work unsafe, we may reschedule.

Limitations of our services

Chimney sweeping and inspections address buildup, blockages and observable conditions of the system at the time of service. They are not a guarantee of future performance, a structural engineering assessment, or a substitute for a home inspection during a real estate transaction.
